Originally from São Paulo, where she started and built her career working with the best directors and production companies in Brazil, Leka’s creative vision and outstanding editing skills kept her pushing forward to the next big project each time. She collaborated with the biggest names in the industry, including Thiago Reys, Aninha Gonçalves, Jotagá Crema and more, performing her outstanding Post Production work in all season 1 episodes of the NETFLIX original production 3% and HBO’s season 2 of A Grande Luta.

In 2017, the Post Production extraordinaire embraced her first challenge abroad. Taking her experience to Los Angeles while being open to collaborate with Hollywood masters, the Brazilian quickly found her place at the top of the industry in LA and envisioned an even brighter future ahead.

Always finding a balance between her professional and personal life, Leka keeps strong connections at home while performing at the top of the industry in the United States. Leka’s work caught the attention of industry top storytellers like Daytime Emmy Award winner Jeremy Snider after joining Jukin Media in 2018, one of the biggest media companies in the country.

At Jukin, she summed up over 200 million views for the company with her outstanding edits. Despite the COVID pandemic, Romao kept adding to her already incredible resume in 2020. While at Fullscreen Media, the Post expert proved time and again why she’s one of the best editors in activity.
